Managing directors Walter and Andreas Heindl made, just like some other competitors, a statement on the chocolate market: “We are now promoting the expansion of our stores – based on the franchise concept – to Carinthia, Tyrol and Salzburg.” In their opinion, today great emphasis is put on quality, fair trade and regionality, which already applies to the Confiserie Heindl: Our chocolate is made of 100% Fairtrade cocoa; raw materials such as sugar, jams and liqueurs are – as far as possible – sourced from Austria.
